Movies, singing, theatre- which is the most stimulating?

Definitely theatre. The spontaneity and immediacy of it makes me deliver my best.

 

Your take on Broadway style theatre launching in India :

High time it did. It helps trouncing the formulaic approach which comes with budgeted theatre productions.

 

Where do you learn your lines for the plays?

On the bed. Just before sleeping and immediately after waking up.

 

Describe Lillete Dubey as a director- 

Perfectionist. Very particular about aesthetics like lights and sounds. Tireless.

Blue frog, Mumbai

 

Favourite city in the world?

Both Mumbai and London, abuzz with activity and excitement.

 

Which is harder, Shakespeare or algebra?

Neither. I am an engineer turned theatrician.

 

If you woke up one morning to be an international celeb, who would it be and why?

Angelina Jolie. Because everything about her is larger than life. Minus her children though.(laughs)

Thai food at Nobus, London

 

Music on your Ipod:

Mostly Progressive and Vocal Trance. Armin Van Buuren makes up most of my songs folder.

‘Echoes of the soul’ by Echo L. Bodine and ‘Whats your Sunsign’ by Chetan D Narain.

 

Future projects:

Working on my next music album, staging ‘August: Osage County’ across the country and waiting for my next movie release, ‘Chemistry’

has a passion for odd and intriguing, and that is what brought her into the field of journalism. Adventure sports, street-style theater and travelling are her much revered leisure pursuits. While at it, she digs random coffee shop talks and scribbles them down into droll stories.
