It was all down and dusted for Mumbai Indians this season after their five losses in a row in UAE. With Sachin Tendulkar’s retirement, Mumbai Indians who were the defending champions this season, never looked at getting a foothold in this tournament. But fighters rise up to the occasion and this time Corey Anderson, Ambati Rayudu and Aditya Tare all contributed for pulling a thrilling victory against the Rajasthan Royals. James Faulknar’s low full toss delivery on the leg stump was punched for six by Aditya Tare pulling of a historic win.
Yusuf Pathan’s Epic Innings
Just when KKR were looking to seal the third place in the tournament after making into the playoffs, Pathan’s epic 22-Ball 72 put an end to all hopes in the CSK camp.
