समा रहे हैं
अनंत पाताल में
मैं जीवन के तट पर
देख रहा हूं मृत्यु का मौन
प्रकृति,
तांडव कर रही है
शिव,
गण-कमंडल सहित
सुरक्षित स्थानों पर पहुंचाए जा रहे हैं
प्रलय के बाद भी
प्यासी नज़र आती है
मंदाकिनी
विचलित
व्यथित
पर
क्रुद्ध
कुपित
किंकर्तव्यविमूढ़
सचमुच,
सबसे कठिन होता है मां का क्रोध
प्रकृति का शाप.

प्रकृति
अपने विस्तार में जब
उसका ही रास्ता न हो
संतानें
कुदालों, मशीनों से
खोदती रहें, मां की छाती
अंतड़ियों को चीरकर
खींचे जा रहे हों तार
मां का गर्भ
जब
बिजली उत्पादन की गुफ़ा बन जाए
और पांवों पर
खड़े करके खंभे
तान दिया जाए छतों का जाल
तब
सहनशक्ति बोल जाती है
नदियां करवट लेती हैं,
तिलमिलाकर
तड़पकर
सीने की तरह
फट जाते हैं बादल
धरती
संतानों से
नाता तोड़ लेती है

प्रस्तर पर गिरते
सिर धरते
जीवन सैय्या पर जन मरते
मरते, बहते, हो मुक्त केश
बह गया स्वांग सब, नहीं शेष
धरनी की कितनी सहनशक्ति
कर सकी आज तक कहां चयन
अब भीजे, कातर हुए नयन
नयनों में कितना वेग बहा
कितना कुछ साधा, दर्द सहा
पर कहा?
कभी कुछ कहां कहा
धरती कब कहती है तुमसे
तुम सुनने को तैयार कहां
लालच की गठरी सिर साधे
नित खोद रहे हो जहां-तहां
जो कही-अनकही बातों पर
बिन दिए ध्यान, कर रहे दमन
अब भीजे, कातर हुए नयन
मैं खोल रही हूं केशों को
मैं धरूं कहां अवशेषों को
मैं हार गई हूं वैभव से
मैं काटूं कहां कलेशों को
झीलें छलकीं, फट गए मेघ
मैं बही जा रही लिए वेग
जल प्रलय नहीं ये, अश्रु मेरे
